Description & Requirements

Your Team

This position will report to Director, Program Management.

What You Will Do

  • Manage cross functional program team through Phase-Gate development process.
  • Manage program timelines (Gantt) task-based schedules, resource allocations, critical path generation and progress tracking.
  • Ensure accurate product documentation for in-house and ODM supplier designs.
  • Executing and tracking programs in accordance with the defined product development model. Conduct regular team meetings, establishing action items and due dates for development activities.
  • Ongoing risk evaluation and updating program status regularly to sync up with key stakeholders and timely to escalating if support required.
  • Prepare program budgets including in house resources, samples, compliance, tooling, NRE etc. Track progress of program expenses, reporting any variances and drive it back on track. Drive the internal/external teams for continuously product cost optimization.
  • Independently manage cross-functional program groups from product concept definition phase to mass production. Act as team leader and spokesperson (in conjunction with Management) as final arbitrator in team decisions
  • Regular on-site visits at our ODM partners to make sure EV (Engineering Verification), DV (design validation), PV (process validation) and mass production ramp up can been conducted smoothly.
  • Ensure product concept preserved, requested performance and application requirements of the product met, appearance and packaging standards adhered to.
  • Organize the postmortem meeting to collect knowledge for future program leverage and record as the legacy for company. 

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree holder.
  • Minimum 7 years product development experience in project management professional.
  • Solid knowledge of consumer audio products.
  • Experience in project budgeting, resources planning and tracking.
  • Requires PC skills using programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Project and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English communication in oral and writing.
  • Strong leadership, analytical mindset and pro-active decision making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work in fast-paced and multitasking environment.
  • Result driven and good team player.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certified.

What is Nice to Have

  • Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in engineering or equivalent technical degree desirable.
  • Experience in the Headphone/TWS industry is preferred.
  • Experience in managing ODM suppliers.
