About the Role

As an Account & Sales Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring long-term commercial success and customer satisfaction for ongoing Harman programs for your customer. You will ensure adherence to customer expectations and work closely with your customer counterpart(s) to maintain and grow the existing business with healthy commercials.

What You Will Do

  • Build, maintain and drive the pursuit strategy for new business opportunities in alignment with the customer account strategy, especially for Geely intelligent cockpit
  • Identify and create IC new pursuits and drive early engagement activities including “war gaming” and 10 standards
  • Own RFI/RFQ response for new business opportunities and be responsible for the quote
  • Create game-changing unique selling proposition and value statements
  • Understand customer expectations (cost, requirements, timing) and define internal targets to meet them
  • Identify key stakeholders and decision makers and develop strategies to win new business
  • Capture and propagate the commercial voice of customer for ongoing programs
  • Manage commercial agreements and drive customer negotiation for awarded business (i.e., APR, CR, customer claims)
  • Closely track customer satisfaction at all levels, and drive course corrections when required
  • Drive to achieve commercial targets (revenue, EBIT, Cash Flow) for your customer programs
  • Receive customer change request and lead them through internal approval process
  • Drive continuity of awarded business through program extensions and follow-on programs

What You Need to Be Successful

  • A thorough understanding of P&L statements, business cases and quotes / contracts with automotive OEMs
  • 5 years of working experience with local automotive OEMs
  • Demonstrable knowledge of automotive business processes and OEM’s organization
  • Basic technical understanding of Automotive IC HW and SW systems
  • Well-versed in sales and business strategy

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management
  • Collaboration with teams in various geographies
  • Experience working with the applicable customer (Geely), especially IC products preferred

What Makes You Eligible

  • You have a working knowledge of English
  • You are willing to travel up to 30%, if necessary
  • Due to the nature of global infrastructure, you understand that flexibility in working hours is required

Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.

Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need. While the above range is a reasonable estimate of the wage range for this position, please note the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographical differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.
