About the Role

The main responsibilities would be performing various tasks in AR functions to support divisional operations.

What You Will Do

  • Billing run and supporting validation and filing for 3rd party customers
  • Invoice issuance supporting document preparation
  • AR aging report preparation
  • AR collection, clearing
  • Understanding of bad debt provision posting logic.
  • Familiarity with bad debt write off
  • Overdue AR dunning
  • Bank slip update to Sales teams
  • Support Japan business stakeholders on AR-related inquiries and issue resolution.
  • Support line manager in both internal and external auditing and process improvement.
  • Other ad-hoc requirements

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field.
  • 2-5 years of Accounts Receivable or Finance SSC experience.
  • Good command of English.
  • Japanese language proficiency at JLPT N2 level or above, with the ability to read and understand business documents and emails.
  • SAP experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player with a proactive mindset.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Have experience in SSC or multinational company finance work.
  • Have experience in process optimization or project management.
