About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager to lead and execute end-to-end product transfer projects. This role is critical in ensuring seamless transitions of existing products, managing EOL component changes, and handling supplier substitutions, all while minimizing supply chain disruptions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, exceptional negotiation skills, and a proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment. What You Will Do

  • Own and execute end-to-end ​product transfer projects (existing product transitions, EOL component changes, supplier substitutions) in collaboration with ​GPLM, Engineering, Supplier Quality, and Operations teams, ensuring seamless handovers with zero/minimal supply chain disruption.
  • Develop and deploy ​change management plans, including timelines, validation checkpoints, risk mitigation strategies, and stakeholder communication protocols.
  • Partner with Engineering and Supplier Quality to validate ​transfer required qualifications, alternate components, and supplier capabilities during transitions or material substitutions.
  • Develop and implement ​change management plans for product transfers, including timelines, validation checkpoints, and stakeholder communication.
  • Coordinate Harman’s cross-functional teams to align on tooling, capacity planning, and material readiness for transferred products.
  • Build and maintain ​strategic supplier relationships; conduct quarterly business reviews to ensure performance meets cost, quality, and delivery KPIs.
  • Negotiate cost-saving opportunities (e.g., alternate materials, process optimizations) with suppliers in partnership with Finance and Engineering teams.
  • Lead process development initiatives to standardize workflows, documentation, and validation protocols, improving efficiency and scalability across projects.

What You Need

  • Thorough program/project management skills.
  • Strong skills with: Supplier management, negotiation, contract development/analysis, supplier evaluation, price/cost analysis.
  • 7+ years in supply chain/ supplier management with proven and significant results.
  • Strong electronics background in audio/video technology and manufacturing processes is an advantage.
  • Proven interpersonal, communication, and influence skills.
  • Excellent bilingual ability in Chinese and English, verbal and written.
  • Customer focus with urgency, responsiveness and initiative to action
  • Data and fact driven with strong analytical skills.
