About the Role

The Financial Analyst provides financial and analytical services to Embedded Audio BU. This business unit is a global operating unit with locations in both Shenzhen and California.

What You Will Do

• Review of financial activities to ensure financial policies, rules properly followed in BU as well as matching with the business documentation.

• Supervise and responsible for monthly closing activities including but not limiting to variance analysis, business profitability report analysis, etc.
• Manage and monitor the customer credit.
• Support the financial planning/forecast and analysis for BU financials and reports.
• Manage and execute the audit documentations and control procedures.

• Support Finance Global Projects.

• Various Ad-hoc requests.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Four-year bachelors Accounting degree.
• Proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Knowledge and experience of SAP / BPC preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (both in English & Chinese, written & verbal).
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong accounting knowledge and finance controlling sense especially in fixed asset, cash forecast as well as customer credit.
• Good time - management skill to meet the tight schedule and deadline.
• Motivated and proactive.
• Teamwork attitude and be flexible and work under pressure.
• CPA or Chartered Accountant designation.
• BPC software experience.

Bonus Points if You Have

• Working knowledge of VOIP, Skype, and similar telecommunications technologies.
• Working knowledge of handsets and headsets used for telecommunications.
• Good temperament and ability to work with suppliers and customers from different cultures.
• Verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Creative problem-solver capable of creating and reproducing complex defects.
• Familiar with manufacturing processes commonly used in acoustics and electronics assemblies.
• Build environment of trust, high performance and engagement by establishing clear goals and a commitment to feedback, development and recognition.
• Champion a better, faster and simpler way of doing things.
• Apply original thinking and continuous improvement to processes, products, systems or services and manage change to better serve customer needs.
