About the Role
As a Product Manager, Amplifier Platforms, you will support global product management activities for Car Audio Amplifier Platforms, with a focus on China-based customer programs and RFQ pursuits.
Your responsibilities include supporting new business acquisition, aligning platform capabilities with customer requirements, driving platform reuse, and ensuring strong coordination between platform, project, and customer teams. You will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Business Units to ensure amplifier platforms are effectively deployed across programs.
Your goal is to enable successful platform execution in-market by supporting RFQs, improving reuse, and ensuring alignment between platform strategy and customer needs.
What You Will Do
- Support product management processes and discipline for amplifier platforms.
- Support RFQ pursuits by aligning platform capabilities with customer requirements.
- Drive platform reuse across customer programs and support reuse compliance tracking.
- Translate customer requirements into platform inputs and feature considerations.
- Develop and maintain product management documentation (MRDs, PRDs, etc.)
- Work closely with project teams to ensure alignment with platform scope and capabilities.
- Support market, customer, and competitive analysis activities.
- Provide input into platform roadmap, positioning, and feature prioritization.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to ensure platform readiness and alignment with customer needs.
What You Need to Be Successful
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Eng) or a related technical field.
- 3–6 years of experience in Automotive Product Management or related roles.
- Understanding of automotive electronic hardware and/or software systems.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams.
- Basic understanding of business case concepts and financial metrics.
- Experience working in a global organization or on global products.
- Familiarity with tools such as Aha!, Jira, and Confluence.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (written and verbal).
Bonus Points if You Have
- Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or related field.
- Knowledge of automotive audio systems or amplifier technologies.
- Experience supporting RFQ pursuits or customer-facing roles.
- Understanding of embedded systems (DSP/MCU platforms).

Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.
Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need. While the above range is a reasonable estimate of the wage range for this position, please note the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographical differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.
