About the Role

The Financial Manager supervises the financial activities and provides financial & analytical services to Embedded Audio BU. This business unit is a global operating unit with locations in Shenzhen and California. This position reports to HEA Director Controlling.

What You Will Do

Duties within this role include but are not limited to the following:

  • Review of financial activities to ensure financial policies, rules properly followed in BU as well as matched with the business documentation
  • Supervise and manage monthly closing activities including but not limit to variance analysis, business profitability report analysis, etc.
  • Partner with sales and supply chain to prepare revenue budget / forecasts, analyze the HEA BU revenue and margin, provide financial analysis support, and prepare working capital analysis to drive improvements.
  • Oversee and Guide Financial Analyst to execute the management of customer credit
  • Manage and support the internal/external audit
  • Participate in and support global ERP transformation project
  • Demonstrated leadership of finance teams that partnered directly with Sales, Operation and R&D teams together to drive the HEA BU business outcomes.
  • Handle various ad-hoc financial and business requests as needed.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s or above in Finance or accounting or similar.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance roles, specializing in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting. Prior experience in a global, R&D and sales-driven global organization is highly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial management roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Knowledge and experience of SAP / BPC preferred
  • Excellent communication skills (both in English & Chinese, written & verbal)
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong accounting knowledge and finance controlling sense especially in fixed asset, cash forecast as well as customer credit
  • Good time - management skills to meet the tight schedule and deadline
  • Motivated and proactive
  • Teamwork attitude and be flexible and work under pressure
  • CPA or Chartered Accountant designation
  • BPC software experience
