About the Role
Audio SW Test Engineer’s responsibility is to perform software verification for Harman automotive audio platforms and algorithms.
What You Will Do
Work with a global team to provide software testing solutions for the automotive environment.
- Create manual and automated reusable test cases.
- Automate existing test cases.
- Provide test documentation in line with Automotive SPICE software process.
- Create reproduction scenarios to aid in root causing defects.
- Implement CI/CD automated testing processes using Jenkins or Bamboo.
- Build and maintain automated testing environments.
- Optimize automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve automation rates and shorten testing time.
- Use online collaboration tools to effectively work in a global environment.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
What You Need to Be Successful
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
5+ years’ experience in testing embedded software for automotive applications.
Working knowledge of embedded systems.
Proficient in English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to utilize online collaboration tools.
Ability to develop the auto test framework and test script.
Ability to design test cases to the software requirements.
Knowledge of basic software development tools.
Knowledge of scripting languages.
Good leadership skills
Good communication skills
Bonus Points if You Have
Python scripting language.
- C, C++ programming ability.
- Familiarity with audio test equipment.
- Familiar with Vector toolchains such as CANoe, CANdela, Diva, and VTSystem.
- Familiar with CAN, CANFD communication, and UDS protocols.
- Familiar with Jenkins operation and have experience implementing automated testing based on Jenkins.
- Working knowledge of digital signal processing technology.
- Working knowledge of vehicle communication systems.
- Ability to debug hardware systems.
- ISTQB FL.
- LabVIEW development experience is a plus.
