About the Role

conduct HW verification for Harman ecosystem across BU to cover Wi-Fi speakers, One platform soundbars and BT speakers. Support debugging issues, and ensure coverage per specifications—collaborating with designers and engineers throughout the product lifecycle.

What You Will Do

  • Be super professional and proficient in communication for test plan, bug clarification, debug supporting and testing status with project team.
  • Be responsible for project specification study to develop test cases, prepare test facilities and setup test conditions based on requirements, collaborate with other test/development counterparts to ensure HW test coverage is sufficient.
  • The individual will work with both HW Development Designers and other engineers to develop test plan, execute test cases, report and track defects in JIRA, and communicate detected issues throughout a product life cycle.
  • The verification scope includes EE performance verification, Thermal analysis curve, battery lifetime and noise test.
  • Support HW issues debug, performs initial problem determination and diagnosis when issues arise during execution, tracks defect against those problems.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • University degree in Electronics Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • >5 years working experience in HW verification or HW development of consumer electronic audio products (audio/video receivers, Bluetooth speaker, wireless speaker, home media system)
  • Proficient in the use of electronic test equipment (AP/Audio Precision 585/525, Multimeter, E-Load, Oscilloscope, Data acquisition )
  • Familiar with common Consumer Electronics audio parameter and connectivity standards. For example, Bluetooth,2.4/5G Wi-Fi
  • Experience with hardware parametric testing at the signal level
  • Strong capability in design test plan, design test case, executes tests, data analysis and report .Bi-lingual fluency in Mandarin and English: excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
