Description & Requirements

What You Will Do

  • Experienced in world-wide regulatory compliance requirements on AV kinds of products, eg CE, FCC, NRTL, ERP, NRcan, KC, CCC, SRRC, Anatel..

  • Very familiar with RF technology, Bluetooth, Wifi, RF wireless featured audio products, able to evaluate the applied testing standards and requirements

  • Very familiar with Audio/Video IP technology and application procedures, such as HDMI, Wi-fi, Wifi WPS, USB If, DAB, WPC Qi.

  • Should know EN55020, EN55022, EN55013, EN55024, IEC62368, EN 300 328, EN 301 489-1, EN 301 489-17 standards very well.

  • Should know world-wide environmental requirements, ROHS, REACH, WEEE, ERP, CARB, packaging;

  • Be responsible for any issues and risks on compliance approbation process and able to fix it.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks. Need to make proper plans and control compliance process to meet shipping schedule

  • Able to provide valuable comments and recommendations to design team and guide suppliers in product design from EMC, safety or hazardous substance prospective.

  • Able to summarize experiences and work out guideline documents to guide teams and suppliers

  • Self-motivated, good learning ability, able to acquire latest regulatory news and make fast response on the new requirements, updates and changes so as to ensure our products are compliant

  • Identify product critical specification parameters and confirm compliance as outlined in the test plans with appropriate margins and capability during design and process validation.

  • Foster teamwork and effective communication with product development, supplier quality management, and regional customer quality teams to ensure total alignment of quality requirements.

What You Need

  • BS in Computer or Electrical Engineering (MS is preferred)

  • Minimum seven years of experience in compliance and regulatory, audio products a must

  • Strong understanding of product verification methods with emphasis on fault test coverage analysis

  • Experience with new product launch and test readiness and implementation within ODM and CM supplier environments  

  • Experience in assessing ODM and CM suppliers’ test capabilities and strategies and driving improvements

  • Familiar with 3rd party lab operation. Lab experience (SGS,TUV, etc) is preferred

  • Project management skills

  • Data and fact driven with strong analytical skills

  • Customer focus with urgency, responsiveness and initiative to action

  • Strong hands-on individual that is self-motivated and resourceful

  • Results driven and strives to meeting or exceeding goals and objectives

  • Demonstrated self-awareness and ability to change

  • Strong team player and builds trust and confidence with suppliers and internal teams

  • Good communications and persuasiveness skill

  • Proficient in verbal and written English; Korean is preferred
