What You Will Do
•
According to product application evaluate and select proper microphone component.
•
Lead the microphone voice system engineering to design of all the Harman Lifestyle division products, such as conference speaker, TWS/OWS/headband headset and smart speaker, standalone mic (Karaoke mic, wireless mic, Podcast mic).
•
Develop microphone voice system, like as mic location and waveguide design through acoustic test and simulation, wind noise test and simulation, product prototypes build and verification.
•
Evaluate and verify internal and external microphone processing solution, and apply to Harman voice communication, voice recognition and high-quality standalone mic products etc.
•
Analyze Harman internal projects and external customers’ requirements and specifications to propose the appropriate solutions to award the project and execute the engineering function on mic part through the full program cycle.
•
Work with projects team leaders and PM to solve the microphone engineering issues.
•
Communicate with peers inside the HARMAN Consumer Audio Product group for product development. This includes occasional travel for training or coordination with other groups and suppliers to HM.
•
Participate in internal and co-development design reviews throughout product development life cycles.
•
Define mic production test spec according to product category.
