About the Role

The DSP Algorithm Engineer will be responsible for developing/porting audio algorithm into target DSP chipset and working closely with cross function teams to ensure timely delivery of Harman products.

What You Will Do

• Port and implement Sound/Voice algorithms into target DSP chipset with limited MIPS/Memory.
• Take ownership of legacy sound algorithms and DSP platforms used in current products to provide necessary updates and ensure continued success.
• Keep track of the latest sound technological innovations and developments and work closely with sound algorithm partner.
• Architect algorithms to various DSP platforms and oversee product integration working with global engineering teams.
• Work with Acoustic team to design new sound algorithms.
• Regularly documenting findings, recommendations, algorithms, software, Etc.

What You Need to Be Successful

• Master’s degree in digital Signal Processing, Math, Acoustics, or related major.
• Proficient in Matlab and C or C++ or Assembly languages.
• Experience developing sound algorithms and proven record.
• Experience on microphone signal processing (AEC, NR, Beamforming etc) and music post-processing (EQ, Limiter, Virtual Surround/Spatial Sound etc) is preferred.
• Experience on ADI or TI DSP etc.
• Fluent Spoken English, Professional read and written English skill.
