About the Role

This position focuses on customer quality control, with customer complaint handling as the core, ensuring customer experience and compliance with the quality system, and promoting continuous quality improvement.

What You Will Do

  •  Responsible for defining Process Control plan, inspection work instruction, Q-alert and product audit work instruction.
  • Responsible for customer quality control, risk identification and customer quality.
  • Lead customer compliant problem solving (0km and warranty).
  • Lead customer audit after SOP+90Days.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of product quality and process quality.
  • Participate in change management.  
  • Lead the improvement of customer satisfaction.
  • The other relevant work arranged by Quality manager.

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering disciplines such as Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
  • Over Five years related experience in Auto manufacturing or with an automotive supplier in an engineering capacity.
  • Possess excellent communication and coordination skills as well as a strong sense of teamwork.
  • Familiar with IATF16949, VDA6.3&6.5, QMS, audit and surveillance process.
  • Working knowledge of core quality tools (APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC, etc).
  • Be capable of using methods such as 8D report to improve problems.
  • Comply with and implement the relevant safety regulations and safety responsibilities of the state, the company and the position.

Bonus Points if You Have

  • Have working experience with customers from Japan and South Korea.
  • Have strong cross function team collaboration skills and be able to promote the rapid resolution of problems.
  • Be able to adapt to certain pressures of work and possess strong problem-solving skills.

  • Accept both short-term and long-term business trip arrangements.
  • Willingness to work in an office.
  • Due to the nature of global infrastructure, you understand that flexibility in working hours is required.

  • Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
  • This position requires the use of a HARMAN or customer-owned vehicle. As such, any offer of employment will be contingent upon having a clean driving record, which will be evaluated and determined in HARMAN’s sole discretion, no more than four (4) active points for moving violations (issued by any motor vehicle agency), and no references to operating a vehicle under the influence of controlled substances within the last 10 years.

Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.

Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need. While the above range is a reasonable estimate of the wage range for this position, please note the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographical differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.
