About the Role

As a Resident Senior ADAS Engineer, you will support and coordinate ADAS development and validation activities between the client, platform suppliers, and local system suppliers in China. You will ensure smooth communication, align stakeholders, and drive on-site activities to meet project milestones. You will also provide hands-on support for vehicle preparation, testing, and troubleshooting at supplier locations

What You Will Do

  • Setting internal project meetings with client to align development schedule, jobs to be done and advanced in China location
  • Preparation and release of meeting minutes for all three-party meetings involving ADAS suppliers, clients, and platform suppliers
  • Observe everyday activities at supplier on-site and report it to client.
  • Coordination of ADAS system supplier in China with client and platform owner in China. Leading common activities and communicating with client ADAS and other teams as HMI, P/T, brake, steering etc.
  • Support of ADAS vehicles preparation (vehicle checks, troubleshooting, instrumentation) and keep them up to date as ADAS representative in China
  • Support system & vehicle level ADAS test and data collection including subjective and objective assessment in ADAS supplier onsite
  • Support, organize and/or lead all location test activities, joint tests on-site.
  • Support T&V Engineers for ADAS relevant testing

What You Need to Be Successful

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Automotive Engineering
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Program Management within ADAS Test & Validation
  • Strong knowledge of ADAS features, sensors and hands-on experience with ADAS integration
  • Solid understanding of GSR2 and UNECE regulations related to ADAS features and requirements
  • Excellent coordination and communication skills; native Chinese, fluent English required
  • Extensive experience in ADAS Project Lifecycle, ADAS Verification & Validation processes
  • Proven ability to prepare vehicles for ADAS testing, including on-vehicle troubleshooting and coordination with cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on experience with Vector tools (CANape, CANalyzer, CANoe, vFlash) for flashing and data acquisition
  • Ability to derive and execute test scenarios and procedures from vehicle and system-level requirements
  • Experience in systems & requirements engineering for ADAS features preferably experience with Codebeamer.
  • Good understanding of vehicle communication networks, subsystems, and ADAS-related external interfaces
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and interdisciplinary teams, improving processes when needed
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
  • Candidate must be based in China and legally authorized to live and work in China, with valid Chinese driving license

  • Familiarity with OEM development processes and workflows
