About the Role

The Financial Analyst provides financial and analytical services to Embedded Audio BU, mainly responsible for monitoring customer credit and customer payment status as well as kinds of financial and management reports. This business unit is a global operating unit with locations in Shenzhen and California.

What You Will Do

• Credit Limit Management:

  1. Customer credit limit assessment and maintenance

  2. Daily SO block analysis

  3. Credit insurance application

  4. Quarterly credit limit review

  5. Annual credit insurance renew

• Cash Forecast Monitoring:

  1. Support SSC to clear AR

  2. Weekly AR report review

  3. Insurance claim for the long aged AR

  4. Monthly AR collection forecast

  5. Monthly cash forecast to treasury team

  6. Monthly Working Capital Forecast

• Fixed Asset Monitoring:

  1. Daily fixed asset capitalization

  2. Quarterly fixed asset monitoring

  3. Annual Capex Budget

• Monthly Closing analyzing and validating:

  1. Proof of delivery auditing on month basis

  2. Spending: Intercompany charge, P-Card spend, Open PR/PO status, warranty accrual, PPV capitalization calculation, Debit Note and Credit Note

  3. Support SSC to monthly reconcile AR/AP with intercompany

  4. Monthly AR bad debt reserve calculation, Monthly AR/AP/GRNI Aging Report analysis

  5. Monthly ICPE Report

  6. Monthly Capex Forecast Report

• Support the internal audit and external audit
• Support BU annual budget, financial statements, management reports and offline reports if needs
• Support Finance Global Projects
• Various Ad-hoc requests

What You Need to Be Successful

• Four year bachelors Accounting degree
• Proficiency with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
• Knowledge and experience of SAP preferred
• Excellent communication skills (both in English & Chinese, written & verbal)
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong accounting knowledge and finance controlling sense especially in fixed asset, cash forecast as well as customer credit
• Good time - management skill to meet the tight schedule and deadline
• Motivated and proactive
• Teamwork attitude and be flexible and work under pressure
• CPA or Chartered Accountant designation
• BPC software experience
