Description & Requirements

What You Will Do

  • Works with software technical leader on the software design, system, evaluate and propose solutions.
  • Work closely with peers of software and other functions, in the software engineering domain to ensure the project goals in terms of time, quality and cost.
  • Implement the software work products functions as per functions requirements/specifications and software design; Verify the implementation and design to ensure the highest software quality is achieved.
  • Proactively work with peers or vendors on the problem solving
  • Collaboration, Judgement and Results Driven are most critical to this role to achieve the business targets.

What You Need

  • Bachelor or above in Electronics Engineering or Computer Science or relevant disciplines
  • 5+ years hands-on experience in software development of embedded Linux system, proficient with programming C/C++; proven working experience and capability in software top-level design based on emended Linux system.
  • Hans-on experience in development of Linux driver/middleware/application, practical experience on system issues such as crash, dead lock and performance optimization.
  • Comfortable with fast-paced and multitasking environment.

What is Nice to Have

  • Basic hardware knowledge, familiar with general hardware interfaces, be able to understand schematics and debug basic hardware issues with tools like oscilloscope.
  • Excellent know-how on Linux uboot, kernel and audio framework.
  • Experience in development of Speaker/Sound Bar is preferred.
