Ensuring that the transducer driver’s performance will continue to be competitive advantage in all products and solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Learning and mastering loudspeaker motor-system and suspension design in COMSOL (specifically for special transducer architecture) to design corresponding transducer components.
  • Contributing to and eventually spearheading new Technology R&D efforts via simulation.
  • Continuously advancing individual level of FEA theory and COMSOL knowledge through training, exploratory learning, and reading to become leading acoustic transducer simulation engineer.
  • Use COMSOL simulation to screen out better or valuable solutions, and shorten the lead time of the mockup sample preparation, reduce the costs of prototype samples and tooling, also the input of manpower.
  • Completing acoustic measurements using Klippel R&D system to validate simulation results.
  • Collaborating with customers, enable to provide professional solutions for clients about the technical/technological requirements. To drive and assist transducer co-development, design for manufacturing, acoustic performance optimization and other related tasks.
  • Be responsible for the transducer design, mainly focus on the high quality, pre-development simulation in the innovation aspect and products.
  • Support sound quality control in collaboration with system engineer and Quality team.
  • Follow up on the trail production of the projects in the manufacturers, evaluate the factory’s process control, production capacity, testing procedures. Etc., and prepare the relative documents released of the projects.
  • Well cooperate with other departments, and even customers/suppliers to ensure NPI are completed on schedule.

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in acoustical engineering or electrical.
  • 12+ years simulation and acoustics background experience, be quite proficient in using COMSOL software to conduct the related simulation works.
  • Be very similar with the components and performance of the transducer as well as their mutual influences, also the transducer TS parameters analysis.
  • Experienced in transducer measurement, good at using proper equipment’s, like Klippel, soundcheck.
  • Must have good hearing and be capable of accurately evaluating sound quality of audio product.
  • Good communication skill and show professional knowledge when discuss with the suppliers and customers.
  • Strong analytical and problem solved skills.
